Jake's The Man

My cousin Jacob is one of those special people who always brings a smile to your face with a simple hello.  God blessed my family years ago by bringing Jacob into our lives and Jake continues to bless everyone he comes into contact with on a daily basis.  This year has been an amazing year of accomplishments for Jake; he has obtained his first job and has been voted amongst his peers unto the Junior Prom Court.  Below is a picture of Jake at his new job and some cookies I made to congratulate him on his prom nomination.  Way to go Jake!

UPDATE :  Jacob Lemke was crowned Chi-Hi's 2012 Junior Prom King.  So proud of him for being such a ray of sunshine in so many people's lives and his classmates for recognizing what an amazing person he is!

Ava's Birthday

My Cousin Holly's daughter Ava requested an order of cookies for her birthday.  She browsed thru my selection of birthday cookies and decided that her favorites were the cupcakes with the sprinkles.  Happy birthday Ava - I hope you enjoy your cookies : )

Princess Frog

My sister Laura is amazing.  She is always showing people my blog and the many many pictures of my cookies that I've sent to her over the past year.  Because of her enthusiasm, one of her co-workers decided to order a birthday basket for their niece.  According to my sister, this niece is the only daughter out of a house full of boys and is indeed a little princess.  Laura's co-worker ordered 6 cookies, but since I had just gotten some new additions to my princess collection I made a few extras to see how they would turn out.
