Will You Be My Bridesmaid

One of my co-worker's friends is getting married this year.  A growing theme amongst brides is finding a unique way to ask their bridesmaids to be part of their bridal party.  This friend asked my co-worker to be part of her wedding by making a calendar that included pictures of them throughout their friendship with "Will You Be May Bridesmaid?" on the cover.  She wanted to use another unique idea to ask another friend to be part of her special day and asked that I make a special cookie bouquet to help her pop the question :)

Cousin Marty's 40th Birthday

My Cousin Marty's Surprise Birthday Party is this weekend.  His sister's Kerry and Holly have orchestrated a surprise party for him this Saturday.  I'm sure it will be a wonderful time and only wish I could be there to help celebrate (Happy Birthday Marty!) Kerry contacted me months ago to put together some special cookies for Marty's Party.  I made two different distinct designs.  The first design was more of a traditional take on a 40th birthday celebration with black and white birthday themed cookies.  The second design was more of a whimsical Wisconsinite theme requested by Kerry specifically.  I hope they enjoy them and that the party is a blast.
